The Information Rubicon Theatre Company (“RTC”) Collects
The RTC privacy policy applies to all information RTC collects, receives and compiles about you from this website, its affiliates and unaffiliated third parties and in connection with an action, inquiry, registration, or transaction with RTC.

Information From You
The information RTC collects from you for verification, processing, enhancement, and marketing purposes may include, but is not limited to:

  • Work telephone number;
  • Mobile telephone number;

  • Current and former mailing addresses;
  • Credit card number and expiration date;

  • RTC also receives information from you when you send it email and other forms, or register at its websites and the websites of its affiliates. RTC may also collect information about your inquires, actions, registrations and transactions with unaffiliated third parties, or others, such as the promotions, sweepstakes, products and services you ordered, or requested.

RTC may also collect from outside sources and combine with its records additional personally identifiable information about you, including but not limited to name, address, driver's license information, email addresses, demographic and lifestyle information.

How RTC Uses Information It Collects
RTC uses the information it collects about you for the purposes of direct marketing and market research. This information may be used by RTC, its affiliates and unaffiliated third parties. RTC also uses this information for various internal business purposes, such as billing, customer service, fraud prevention, and broadening and improving the services RTC can offer.

If you prefer that RTC not disclose to nonaffiliated third parties any personally identifiable information that it collects or compiles about you, you may choose to opt out of such disclosures; that is, you may direct RTC not to make these disclosures.

If you have registered or filled out online information that has been collected or complied by RTC, you may exercise your right to opt out of its disclosing information to unaffiliated third parties by emailing RTC at info@rubicontheatre.org and placing "opt out" or "unsubscribe" or "remove" in the subject line of the email, or by contacting RTC via mail at 1006 E. Main Street, Ventura, California 93001.

Opting Out of Promotional Offers
RTC, its affiliates, and unaffiliated third parties may send you promotional offers by email. You may automatically opt out of further promotional offers by clicking on the "unsubscribe" or “remove from list” button in the email, or by contacting RTC via mail at 1006 E. Main Street, Ventura, California 93001.

Correcting Personal Information
If at any time you wish to update or change your personal information, please contact RTC at info@rubicontheatre.org, or via mail at 1006 E. Main Street, Ventura, California 93001 and provide it with the updated information. By keeping your information current, RTC will be able to extend future offers and services.

SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY

RTC has security protocols and measures in place to protect the personally identifiable information it maintains about you from unauthorized access or alteration. These measures include internal and external firewalls, physical security and technological security measures, and encryption of certain information.

ACCOUNTABILITY

RTC takes reasonable precautions to be sure that unaffiliated third parties or affiliates, to whom information is disclosed, as described above, are aware of its privacy policy and fair information principles and that they will treat the personally identifiable information in a similarly responsible manner.

However, RTC is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of unaffiliated third party or affiliate websites. The owners of these link sites are responsible for their own privacy practices.

USE OF COOKIES TECHNOLOGY

RTC strives to make your experience using its website constructive and easy. When you first visit RTC's website, its master server may send a “cookie” to your computer. Cookies are files that are placed on a computer's hard drive and are then used to tell RTC whether customers and visitors have visited the website before.

Cookies do not identify you personally. Unless you elect to identify yourself to RTC, you will remain anonymous. Cookies may disappear once an individual closes his/her browser or remain on a hard-drive after the computer has been shut off – depending on the file. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The RTC website and websites of unaffiliated third parties or the websites of its affiliates, where RTC collects personally identifiable information in conjunction with a transaction, inquiry, or registration are intended for use only by adults. RTC complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act and do not knowingly solicit or collect information from children.

 

 

 
 

CALIFORNIA PRIVACY

Individual customers who reside in California and have provided their personal information to RTC may request information about its disclosures of certain categories of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Such requests must be submitted to RTC within thirty days of receiving such a request. RTC will provide a list of the categories of personal information disclosed to third parties for third-party direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year, along with the names and addresses of these third parties. This request may be made no more than once per calendar year.

PRIVACY POLICY CHANGES

RTC wants you to be fully informed about how it will protect your privacy. RTC may change its privacy policy in the future, but it will not change its practices until they have been posted at this website. If changes occur, RTC will also show the date of revision. You agree that RTC may notify you of changes in its policy through this website.
